AI disclosure
We believe readers should know how the news they read is made. This page explains how New Street uses artificial intelligence.
How AI is used
New Street articles may be drafted with the help of AI tools. AI-assisted drafts are prepared by automated systems and submitted for editorial review; they are not published automatically.
Human review before publication
Every article is reviewed by a human editor — William, our founder and editor-in-chief — who must approve it before it is published. Review covers accuracy, sourcing, and whether the article meets the standards described in our methodology.
Labelling
Each article carries a “Review & AI disclosure” box stating who reviewed it and whether, and how, AI tools were used in its preparation.
Accountability
New Street, not any AI tool, is responsible for what we publish. If an AI-assisted article contains an error, we correct it under our corrections policy.
